Practice Question Series:   Will be sent periodically for students to practice

Round One:                         Wednesday, February 22, 2012 (13:00-15:00 EST)

Round Two:                       Portfolio Submission Deadline:  Wednesday, April 12, 2012

Round Three:                     U of T National Biology Competion Thursday, April 26, 2012

Release of Portfolio:          November 30, 2011

Regional Skills Training Camps:                Dates and locations to be determined (February                                                                          2011)

National Skills Training Camp:                  July 1-5, 2012, UOIT, Oshawa, Ontario

International Biology Olympiad:                July 8-15, 2012, Singapore



Canada Captures Gold at IBO 2010


The Canadian team had its best results at the 21st Annual International Biology Olympiad this past July in Changwon, South Korea. Each member of the team of four came home with a medal:

Gold Medals:
Run Ze Cao, of Martingrove Collegiate

Melody Guan, University of Toronto Schools

 

Silver Medal:
Rex Xia, Northern Collegiate

 

Bronze Medal:
Qingda Hu, Ontario Science Centre School
